To complete the MAE degree, successful Post-baccalaureate students must complete the following 12-18 credits.
The required credits vary according to whether the student elects to complete a thesis (for 3-6 credits) or to complete the qualifying exam (0 credits).
The MAE Program totals 36 graduate credits (post-baccalaureate program) plus 12-18 credits equaling a grand total of 48-54 credits. Courses include:

EDU 6920 - Educational Research, 3 cr
EDU 6740 - Graduate Seminar, 3 cr
EDU 7960 - Thesis, 3-6 cr OR EDU 7010 - Written Exam, 0 cr
Plus six credits of graduate courses chosen in consultation with advisor.
Minimum credits required for degree 48 cr
Please note that undergraduate courses may qualify for licensure but not for graduate credits toward an MAE.
