Required Courses
Teachers, in consultation with their advisors, will propose a program of study to guide their three years.

Year One – Foundational Studies:  
A broad course of study introducing the challenges facing teachers
today and investigating ways to meet those challenges.

Year Two – Focused Studies:  
This phase will be connected to district goals, school action plans and Individual Professional Development Plans. Members of the cohort will determine an area of emphasis. 13 cr

Year Three – SYNTHESIS:  
On the basis of their studies during the previous two years,
teachers will conduct and present an authentic action research
project as their master’s thesis.
