| Nursing at Lyndon State College Castleton State College brought the nursing program to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom in the fall of 2001. The program includes general education and science prerequisite courses taken at Lyndon State College or the Community College of Vermont (CCV). Nursing lecture courses are taken at Lyndon State College by means of Vermont Interactive Television (VIT). The students’ clinical experience is at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and other local health care facilities. This endeavor to help alleviate the critical nursing shortage means access to a career in nursing for those in the rural Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Interested parties may inquire by contacting the admissions offices at either Castleton State College or Lyndon State College. |
