About the Project

Teaching with Collaborative Teams:

This three-year project supported by a US Dept of Education Teaching American History grant brings together teachers from elementary, secondary, middle and college levels with public historians to deepen the participants' knowledge and appreciation of American history.  Following the guidelines of the Bradley Commission on History and the National Council for History Education (NCHE), this project will work to enhance American history content in our schools through focused professional development workshops, seminars and outreach programs.
