CLOUD 9

September 11-14, 2003

British playwright Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9 tackles issues of gender, class, family, and race with dark and exotic humor. This two-act play takes place in "darkest Africa" during the height of British colonialism. In modern-day England the rules of behavior were strict and very clear, and each individual must find his/her own definitions of sex, perversion, family, and love.
