Women's cross country finishes 13th out of 28 teams, Men 20th out of 35

Bronx, NY -At Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY NYU won the men's 8K while the University of Findlay took home the top spot in the women's 5K. Winning the men's race in a time of 26:31.3 was Lynchburg College's Ricky Flynn. Coming in first for the women was Laura Paulson from Johns Hopkins University at 18:43

MEN: Castleton welcomed back Chris Gatchell to the roster as he was the Spartans' top finisher at 28:55 in 40th position. Mike Sullivan continued his strong running finishing in the top 100 (96th) in a time of 30:42.

WOMEN: The Spartan women had a trio finish in the top 100 with Elizabeth Halnon leading the way in 29th with a time of 21:12. Katie Sprowl finished 56th in 21:53 while Justine Campbell finished 76th in 22:28.

The teams will travel to Franklin Park in Boston, MA on Saturday, September 23 to compete in the Harrier's Classic with start times of 10:00 am.
