Husson tops Castleton with 47 seconds left in regulation

Bangor, ME – Elisha Dorso (Farmingdale, ME) scored the game winning goal with 47 seconds remaining to lift Husson past Castleton 2-1. Husson moves to 7-5 (6-2 NAC) while Castleton drops to 4-9 (2-4 NAC).

Nikki Chapman (Dexter, ME) found some space and crossed the pass to Dorso who put it past Trisha Clark (East Dover, VT) for the game winner. Carolyn Griggs (Lincoln, VT) had tied the score for Castleton 10 just 57 seconds into the first half. Trishia Fellow (Hartland, VT) found Griggs ahead of the defense and Griggs got Kelly Bocchino who came out of the net.

Erica Dorso scored Husson's first goal off an assist from KaroleAnne Emery with 7 minutes to play in the first half.

Bocchino finished with 9 saves on 10 shots for the Eagles while Clark recorded 12 saves on 16 shots for Castleton.
