Castleton finishes 18th out of 24 teams in the Duke Nelson Invitational

Middlebury, VT-Bryan Smith (St. Albans, VT/BFA-St. Albans) led the Spartans in the two day event, shooting a 75 on Saturday and a 77 on Sunday. Winning the event was Hamilton's Mike Hayes. Hayes shot a 71 on Saturday and a 70 on Sunday.

Overall, Skidmore took home the team win as they placed all four members in the 70's both days. The Thoroughbreds shot a 291 on Saturday and a 300 on Sunday to earn the win. Two strokes back in second place was NYU. Castleton shot 651 for the two days and finished in 18th place.

The team is back in action on Wednesday, September 20 when they travel to Chicopee to particpate in Elms College's Blazer Invitational. [Complete Results]
