Smith sets record, Castleton finishes strong among region's elite

Williamstown, MA-Bryan Smith shot a 144 (+2) to finish second in the Williams Invitational at Taconic Golf Course in Williamstown, MA. The 144 is a program-record for a two round event and was just one shot behind tournament winner, Tobin Spector from Skidmore.

Skidmore won the event by 17 strokes over host, Williams College.

Castleton finished 15th out of the 19 teams competing with a final score of 643.

Castleton will host the Spartan Invitational at Rutland Country Club on Wednesday, September 26 beginning at 1:00 pm. [Results]
