Castleton finishes second at USM Fall Classic, Husson wins with 306

South Portland, ME-The Castleton State College golf finished second at Sable Oaks Golf Club, shooting a 317, and coming up short to conference rival, Husson College's 306.

Bryan Smith shot a four-over 74, winding up second to Husson's Adam Duplisea who shot a 73 to earn medalist honors.

Nick Wood turned in a round of 76, good enough to tie in fourth position. Erik Slosek, Sam Morse and Alex Moore shot 82, 84 and 85 respectively to round out Castleton's day.

The Spartans are back in action on Saturday and Sunday when they travel to Chicopee Country Club for the ECAC Championships hosted by Elms College. Both days tee off at 12:30 pm. [Results]
