Castleton begins second semester with 5-5 tie at Williams

Williams, MA-Castleton began the second hafl of their season with a thirlling 5-5 tie at Williams College. Brandon Heck sent the game to overtime with 47 seconds remaining when he converted a Travis Martell feed into his fifth goal of the season.

Joe Huchko tallied a pair of goals from his defensive position, while Jared Lavender and Jeff Alexander each scored a single mark to round out the Spartan scoring. With the tie Castleton's record goes to 5-2-3 (1-1-3 ECAC East).

Jeff Swanson stopped 17 shots in 65 minutes of play to earn the point. Castleton will travel to Middlebury on Saturday to take on the defending national champion Panthers at 4:00 PM. [Box Score]
