| Castleton Summer Hockey Camp Meetings |
| (June 3, 2008) - Sign-up meetings for the Castleton/RAHA Summer Hockey Programs will be held at the Rutland Regional Fieldhouse on Thursday June 5th and Wednesday June 11th. Both meetings will be at 7:00 pm. All interested players should attend one of the meetings. (April 25, 2008) - Colorado Springs, CO - The National Strength  and Conditioning Association (NSCA) recently awarded men's ice hockey player, Evan Romeo (Kanata, Ontario/Smith Falls CJHL) with its annual All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award--recognizing the student athletes' dedication to strength and conditioning. (April 21, 2008) - The Castleton State College men's ice hockey  team officially wrapped up its 2007-08 season at the Palms Restaurant in Rutland, Vermont.

| Spartans Lead ECAC East with 14 All-Academic Selections |
(April 18, 2008) - Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Men's East All-Academic team for the 2007-08 season.This marks the sixth year that the conference has named an All-Academic team; a total of 71 student-athletes representing nine of the ten ECAC East teams earned this honor based on outstanding performance in the classroom.
