Castleton loses for the first time in four matches, 8-1 to Colby-Sawyer

Rutland, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team saw their modest three-match winning streak snapped at the hands of a tough Colby-Sawyer squad 8-1.

Jessee Maranda salvaged the lone point for Castleton, winning the #2 singles match 0-6, 7-6 (7-5) 10-8.

Castleton falls to 4-2, while Colby-Sawyer improves to 7-3. The Spartans return to action on Saturday when they host Becker College at 11:00 am. [Results]
