Castleton wins third straight match, handles Green Mountain 8-1

Rutland, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team continues to play well as they defeated Green Mountain College 8-1 at Vermont Sport and Fitness.

The Spartans lost just the #1 doubles match as they cruised to their fourth victory in five matches. Castleton's Robbie Gray, Jessee Maranda, Ted Panasci, Jeremy Henderson, Ed Kolnaski, and Dan Hodge all won singles matches. The team dropped just two sets all afternoon.

Henderson remains undefeated in #4 singles through five matches, while Kolnaski is 4-0 playing in the #5 slot. Panasci and Kolnaski are also unbeaten as a doubles team.

Castleton improves to 4-1 on the season and will host Colby-Sawyer College at 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 1. [Results]
