Castleton wins second straight, defeats Lyndon State 7-2

Rutland, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team continues to play well as they dispatched Lyndon State 7-2 at Grand Slam Tennis in Rutland.

The Spartans lost just the #1 singles and #1 doubles matches en route to their third victory in four matches. Jessee Maranda, Ted Panasci, Jeremy Henderson, Ted Kolnaski and Jamie Cook won singles matches #2 through #6 with relative ease.

Henderson remains undefeated in #4 singles through four matches, while Kolnaski is 3-0 playing in the #5 slot. Panasci and Kolnaski are also unbeaten as a double team.

Castleton improves to 3-1 (1-0 NAC) on the season and is back in action on March 30 when they travel to Green Mountain College for a non-conference tilt at 5:00 pm. [Results]
