Castleton blanked by Colby-Sawyer
Rutland, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by Colby-Sawyer at Grand Slam Tennis in Rutland, VT.
It is the second consecutive loss for the Spartans after winning their first two matches of the season.
Castleton nearly escaped with a win in #1 doubles, but eventually fell 8-6 in the closest match of the day. Jamie Cook had the best run at a victory in singles action, dropping the #6 slot 6-4, 7-5.
Colby-Sawyer improves to 3-4 with the win while Castleton drops to 2-2.
The Spartans are back in action at Grand Slam on Saturday, March 29 when they play host to Johnson State at 1:00 pm. [Results]
