Castleton remains perfect in conference play with 7-2 win over Thomas

Castleton, VT-The Castleton State College men's tennis team improved to 3-0 in North Atlantic Conference play with a 7-2 victory over visiting Thomas College.

The Spartans dropped #1 singles and #1 doubles en route to the win.

Jessee Maranda, Justin Garritt, Jeremy Henderson, Ted Panasci, and Jamie Cook all won straight-set singles matches.

In doubles action Garritt and Panasci teamed for an 8-6 win in the #2 slot, while Cook and Dan Piliero won #3 doubles 8-3.

The Spartans will take on non-conference foe, Green Mountain on Tuesday at 4:00 pm in Castleton. [Results]
