(February 18, 2008) - Jeff Swanson (Grand Haven, MI/Tecumseh WOJHL) has been named ECAC East men's ice hockey goaltender of the week. Swanson earned a pair of wins in between the pipes for Castleton this weekend, posting a 2.00 GAA and a .927 saves percentage.

The junior goalie stopped 22 shots in a 6-1 win over Saint Michael's on Friday. Swanson backed that up with 29 saves, including 14 in the second period, in a 4-3 victory over No. 6 Norwich. [Archive] [Men's Hockey Home]
