(March 6, 2008) - Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Men's East All-Conference teams for the 2007-08 season. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year.

Senior forward Rick Cleaver (Vancouver Island, British Columbia/Salmon Arm Silverbacks) earned Player of the Year in the Men's East. Cleaver scored 20 goals and added 14 helpers to lead all league scorers with 34 points in 19 Men's East games.

Ryan Donovan (Rexford, New York/ Hartford Wolfpack, AJHL) of UMass Boston was voted Goalie of the Year, compiling a .904 save percentage and an 11-13-2 record in league play.

Salem State forward Justin Fox (Whiby, Ontario/New market Hurricanes) received Rookie of the Year honors. Fox led all rookie scorers with 28 points in league play, tallying 12 goals and adding 16 assists.

Mike McShane, who is in his 12th season behind the Norwich University bench, has been named Coach of the Year. McShane led the Cadets to 15 league wins and an ECAC Men's East regular season title.

Joining Cleaver and Donovan on the All-ECAC East First Team are forwards Mark Ehl (North Vancouver, British Columbi /Powell River Kings) of New England College, and Nikita Kashirsky (Moscow, Russia/Walpole Stars, EJHL) from Norwich. The All-ECAC First Team defensemen are Babson College's Casey Fazekas (Montreal, Quebec/Westminster School) and Trevor Turner (Westbank, British Columbia/Williams Lake Timberwolves) a sophomore from New England College.
