(March 6, 2008) - Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Women's East All-Conference teams for the 2007-08 season. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year.

Kelsey Jonhson (Byfield, Massachusetts/Governor Dummer Academy) of Saint Anselm College earned Player of the Year honors in the Women's East for the 2007-08 season. The junior forward scored 18 goals and added 12 assists for 30 points, tying her for fourth in league scoring.

Andrea Berlin (Durham, New Hampshire/Oyster River) of Saint Anselm College was voted Goalie of the Year, compiling an impressive .952 save percentage, 0.81 goals against average, and 9-1-1 record in league play.

UMass Boston forward Rachel Sousa (Woburn, Massachusetts/Woburn H.S./Chelmsford Lions) received Rookie of the Year honors. Sousa scored 13 goals and added 16 helpers in Women's East play compiling 29 points.

Coach of the Year honors went to Dave Flint from Saint Anselm College who is in his fourth season behind the bench. Flint led the Hawks to an ECAC Women's East regular season title, the ECAC Women's Open Tournament title, and a 23-2-1 overall record.

Joining Johnson and Berlin on the All-ECAC East First Team are forwards Danielle Nagymarosi (Uxbridge, Ontario/RIT) from Manhattanville College and Maria Nasta (Andover, Massachusetts/New England College) of UMass Boston. The defensemen on the All-ECAC East First Team are Holy Cross sophomore Lisa Wilson (Corunnda, Ontario/Sarnia Collegiate Institute) and Dani Poupart (Fernie, British Columbia/Warner Hockey Academy) who is a member of the Manhattanville College Valiants.
