(March 31, 2008) - Justin Garritt (Liberty, NY/Liberty) has been named the North Atlantic Conference men's tennis rookie of the week. Garritt was 2-1 in #3 singles action this week and 2-1 in #2 doubles teaming with Jamie Cook. Garritt battled back from being a set down versus Johnson State, winning 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 and won doubles 8-5. At Lyndon State Garritt cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 singles win and another 8-5 doubles win. 

Garritt has started his career off strong, earning NAC Weekly honors in each of his first three weeks of competition. The freshman is currently 5-1 in singles action and 3-1 in doubles. [Archive] [Men's Tennis Home]
