(April 7, 2008) - (March 17, 2008) - Michael Martinez (Barrington, IL/Barrington) has been named the North Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse player of the week. Martinez led Castleton to a 2-1 week, including a conference win over Maine Maritime. Martinez scored nine goals over the three games. The sophomore attack also grabbed 12 ground balls on the week.

It is the second time this season Martinez has earned the award. The sophomore leads the Spartans with 19 goals scored.
