(April 21, 2008) - Brad Polcare (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga) has been named the North Atlantic Conference baseball player of the week. Polcare sparked the Castleton offense to a 6-1 week, including a 4-0 week in conference action. Polcare was 10-for-24 (.417) with four doubles, one homerun, eight RBI and 10 runs scored from the lead-off spot.

The speedy second baseman stole three bases, slugged .708, and had an on base percentage of .500.

Polcare currently leads the NAC in runs scored (31) and ranks second in slugging percentage (.586) and total bases (51). [Archive] [Baseball Home]
