(April 28, 2008) - Dan Conley (Manchester, NH/New Hampton) has been named the North Atlantic Conference baseball rookie of the week. Conley was 13-for-27 (.481) in a 4-3 week for the Spartans that included a sweep of Elms College to earn the #1 seed in this weekend's NAC tournament. Conley had four doubles and drove in seven runs while scoring eight.

The freshman third baseman stole six bases, slugged .630 and had an on base percentage of .533.

Conley has been honored three times this season with a weekly award, this is his second Rookie of the Week honor. He currently leads the NAC with a .402 batting average, 31 RBI, and 47 hits.

Over his last 10 games Conley is hitting .436 (17-for-39) with five doubles, 11 RBI, and 12 runs scored. [Archive] [Baseball Home]
