(September 8, 2008) - Maggie Klein (Castleton, VT/Fair Haven Union) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Klein won for the first time in her collegiate career on her home course at the Spartan Invitational.

Klein ran the 5,000 meter race in 20:20 to lead Castleton to the team victory. Klein's time was seven seconds faster than the second-place finisher, and nearly 1:30 faster than her career-best.
