(October 22, 2007) - Meghan Konowich(Canastota, NY/Canastota) has been named the North Atlantic Conference field hockey player of the week. In Castleton's only game of the week, a 3-2 overtime victory over previous NAC unbeaten Husson, Konowich provided the assist on the game-winning goal, just 27 seconds after being subbed in.

After stealing the ball at midfield Konowich carried to the corner and blasted a perfect cross in front of the cage that was sent in, forcing a three-way tie atop the NAC standings. [Archive] [Field Hockey Home]
