Blank, Griggs Earn NAC All-Conference First Team
Tammy Landon Named NAC Coach of the Year
(November 2, 2007) - Husson junior forward Erica Dorso was selected North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches. Dorso, a two-time all conference honoree, led the conference with 11 goals during league play.
Lasell first year forward Tia Pratt was chosen as the conference Rookie of the Year. Pratt was among the league leader in assists contributing on five goals. The first year also scored three times during league action for the Lasers.
Castleton head coach Tammy Landon earned NAC Coach of the Year accolades. Landon’s squad finished the regular season 7-1 in conference play, a three-win improvement from a season ago.
Wheelock College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award. NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches. Additional players honored are due to ties in the voting.
