Castleton women finish 11th, men 10th in USCSA Regional Championships

Waterville, ME -Women: The Castleton State College Women's Ski Team finished 11th out of 17 teams at the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships at Waterville Valley, NH.  This year's result is two spots better than last year's 13th place team finish during the two-day event and five spots better than their 2005 result.  The women from Colby-Sawyer College, Brown University, Boston College, Smith College and Plymouth State University advance to the 2007 USCSA National Championships at Winter Park, Co.

Men: The Castleton State College Men's Ski Team complete the USCSA Eastern Regional Championships in 10th place out of 17 teams.  This year's result is an improvement since last season's 13th place result at the championships.  Castleton's Justin Schwartz (Bondville, VT / Burr and Burton) finished 27th out of 100 competitors on the weekend, while Greg Towle (Coventry, RI / Bishop Hendricken) placed 38th on the weekend.  The men from Colby-Sawyer College, Plymouth State University, the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Boston College and Clarkson University advance to the 2007 USCSA National Championships in Winter Park, Co.
