For many years Castleton's alpine ski teams were among the best in the northeast, and even the nation competing at the NCAA division I level. After dropping the program in the mid-1990's Castleton reinstated alpine skiing as a varsity sport for both men and women in 2004. Since being reinstated the Spartans have once again become one of the top teams in the region. In 2006 both men's and women's teams won the McBrine division title. |
