(March 10, 2008) - Three members of the Castleton State College men’s ski team earned national honors at the USCSA National Championships this past week in Sunday River, Maine. Freshman, William Richard Colt (Hanover, NH) and junior, Justin Schwartz (Bondville, VT) were both named to the USCSA All-American Team for their performances in the two-day event. Freshman, Robert Moss (Bray, CO; Wicklow, Ireland) earned USCSA Academic All-American honors, for his prowess on the slopes and in the classroom. (Full Article)

(March 7, 2008) - The Castleton State College men's ski team placed 8th overall out of the top 20 teams in the nation at the USCSA National Championships at Sunday River, ME.  William Richard Colt (Hanover, NH) was Castleton's top skier in the combined standings with a 21st place showing. Colt placed sixth in the slalom event and 48th in the giant slalom out of 113 competitors. (Full Article)

(March 5, 2008) - The Castleton State College men’s alpine ski team will travel to Sunday River, Maine to compete in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USCSA) national championships from March 6 – 8, 2008. In just their fifth season of membership in the USCSA, the Spartans earned their first ever bid with a fifth place overall finish in the Eastern Regional Championships on February 24. (Full Article)
