| Since its inception, Castleton softball has been among the elite teams in their region, competing early on in the NAIA district V. In the 1980's and '90's the Spartans earned 9 Mayflower Conference titles and finished second or better in district V eight times. Recently the Spartans have earned much respect in the North Atlantic Conference, making it to postseason play in each of their first four seasons. |
