(February 29, 2008) - Castleton junior guard Jessica Banks  (Milford, CT/St. Joseph) earned all-conference accolades for the second straight season. Banks, a second team honoree a season ago, was among the league leader in assists, three-point field goal percentage and blocks while leading the conference in assist to turnover ratio and steals. | Castleton Defeats Thomas, Will Host NAC Final Four |
(February 26, 2008) - Castleton VT-The Castleton State College  women’s basketball earned a spot in the North Atlantic Conference semifinal round with a 72-47 quarterfinal win over Thomas College. The win was Castleton’s fifth consecutive, and improves the Spartans overall record to 19-7. The loss ends Thomas’s season at 12-12. (Full Article) |
| Castleton Earns Top Seed in NAC Tournament |
(February 25, 2008) - Castleton and Maine Maritime earned  the top seeds in their respective divisions in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament. West division top seed Castleton (18-7 overall, 13-2 NAC) will play host to East division fourth seed Thomas (12 11 overall, 6-8 NAC). (Full Article) |
