Whiting scores 1,000th point, Castleton wins fourth in a row 65-42 over Lesley

Newotn, MA-Senior forward, Jenn Whiting dropped 17 points and hauled in 9 rebounds to lead Castleton to their fourth straight win. Whiting's sixth point of the evening gave her 1,000 for her career making her the ninth woman in the program's history to reach the milestone.

Castleton led 41-24 at the half and cruised to the 23 point victory to end their fisrt semester undefeated in NAC play. Courtnie Leakeas led teh Lynx with 12 points. Joining Whiting in double-figures was LeeAnne Ketchen and Mary Nienow with 11 points each.

Castleton improves to 6-2 (4-0 NAC) and is off until the second semester when they open up at College of St. Joseph (Vt.) on January 4 at 7:00 PM. [Box Score]
