Seasons at Castleton:	First
Prior Experience:	Two seasons as officals' evaluator for ECAC Division I women. Inaugural coach of Castleton men's team. Experience at all levels for over 30 years.

Personal Information:

Coach Stone enters his first season as head coach of the Castleton women in 2007-08. Most recently Stone has spent time as an officials' evaluator for the ECAC Division I women's hcokey leagues. Prior to that Stone spent two seasons at the helm for the Castleton men, helping to establish a foundation for the brand new program.

Prior to coming to Castleton Stone spent time as an assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Dartmouth College, and prior to that was an assistant at Kimball Union Academy. Stone was also responsible for establishing the boys hockey program at Orono High School in Maine. Stone also spent time for 30 years as an official at both the high school and college levels.

Stone's playing career included three years at UMass.-Amherst and high school hockey at Needham High School in Needham, MA.

For the past eight years Stone has been Dean of Students at Castleton and holds an M.Ed. in counseling from the University of New Hampshire.

Chantalle Rye

Assistant Coach

Coach Rye enters her first season at Castleton after a four-year playing career at Plattsburgh State. While at Plattsburgh Rye made three consecutive trips to the NCAA Frozen Four and was a part of the 2005-06 national runner-up team. As a member of the Cardinal defense, Rye played in 103 games, scoring 23 goals and tallying 58 assists during her career.

A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Rye graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Plattsburgh in 2006.
