Castleton finishes Norwich Classic with win over Green Mountain, 3-0

Northfield, VT-Castleton got back to their winning ways when they produced a 3-0 win over cross-town rival Green Mountain College. The Spartans handled the Eagles 30-22, 30-23, and 30-20.

Once again Jamie Lemiux (Fort Edward, NY/Argyle Central) led the way with 13 kills and nine aces. Samantha Grisso (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth) was credited with 13 assists, while Mandy Harrington (Peru, VT/Green Mountain Union) added five kills, four assists andfive aces.

Castleton improves to 4-1 on the season. The Spartans are back in action on Saturday, September 14 when they play host to Mass.-Liberal Artsat 7:00 PM [Box Score]
