Castleton ends the afternoon with NAC split after losing to Lesley 3-0

Holyoke, MA -In their second match of the day Castleton ran into a fresh Lesley University team that handled the Spartans in three straight games. After battling to a 32-30 loss in game one, the Lynx won the next two games 30-18, 30-16 respectively.

Jamie Lemieux (Fort Edward, NY/Argyle Central) and Mandy Harrington (Peru, VT/Green Mountain Union) led the attack with five kills apiece. Samantha Grisso (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth) had nine assists on the afternoon.

Castleton falls to 7-4 (1-3 NAC) while Lesley improves to 1-5 (1-2 NAC). The Spartans return to the court on Wednesday, Spetember 27 when they play host to College of St. Joseph (Vt.) at 7:00 PM. [Box Score]
