Castleton makes quick work of Lyndon St. 3-0

Castleton, VT-Castleton State College defeated Lyndon State College 3-0. The Spartans won the three consecutive games by scores of: 30-24, 30-21, and 30-27. The match took a tidy one hour and ten minutes.

Jamie Lemieux (Fort Edward, NY/Argyle Central) led the way with five kills, three aces and four solo blocks. Samantha Grisso (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth) tallied five assists and five aces.

Castleton improves to 9-6 while the Hornets fall to 1-14. The Spartans are back in action on Saturday, October 7 when they travel to Lasell College to participate in a North Atlantic Conference Tri-Match versus Lasell at 1:30 Pm and Mount Ida at 3:30 PM. [Box Score]
