Castleton falls to Norwich in season finale 3-0

Castleton, VT-In their final match of the season Castleton put on a spirited effort against a tough Norwich unviersity team. After dropping the first game 30-20, Castleton took the Cadets to the brink, and after a wild back-and-forth sequence finally fell 30-28 in game two. Norwich took care of business in the third game, winning 30-19.

In her final match, senior Mandy Harrington (Peru, VT/Green Mountain Union) was all over the court, recording 18 digs and five kills. Jamie Lemieux (Fort Edward, NY/Argyle) led the team with nine kills, and four solo blocks.

Castleton ends their season at 11-13, a vast improvement over the two-win season of 2005. [Box Score]
