Castleton improves to 2-4 in the NAC with 3-0 win over Thomas

Waterville, ME -At Thomas College the Spartans earned their first 3-0 victory of the season over the Terriers. Castleton won with game scores of 30-21, 30-27 and 30-22 to earn the split for the day.

Jamie Lemieux (Fort Edward, NY/Argyle Central) led the way with 10 kills, six aces and four solo blocks. Samantha Grisso (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth) tallied six assists. Mandy Harrington (peru, VT/Green Mountain Union) was very good on serve with seven aces and just one error.

Castleton improves to 8-6 (2-4 NAC) while Thomas falls to 2-9 (0-6 NAC). The Spartans are back in action on Tuesday, October 3 when they play host to Lyndon State at 7:00 PM. [Box Score]
