Emerging Leaders
Each year first year students
are nominated by faculty, staff and others to participate
in an Emerging Leaders Program.
An alumni mentor works closely with the Emerging Leaders
as teacher, facilitator, and supporter. The curriculum is
developed by the Alumni Mentor for the specific class, but
generally addresses personal values, leadership skills,
and long and short term goal setting. Emerging Leaders meet
approximately each month starting in the Spring semester
of their freshman year and continuing through until graduation.
