Tom Conroy
Professor of Communication
Public Relations

 

Tom Conroy holds a BS from Boston University, a BA and MA from Rhode Island College and a PhD from the University of Massachusetts. He has done in depth study of media images of the Vietnam War and its veterans, and worked for several years as a public relations professional in the non-profit sector. He is the director of the Castleton Videofest and a leader in service learning.

COM 2150 PUBLIC RELATIONS
This course presents a functionalist examination of past and present public relations practices and associated controversies. Students will be required to analyze and produce public relations programs using a variety of media skills.
