Searching for VHS Tapes or DVDs in the Online Catalog

You may search for a particular title, or you may search for VHS tapes or DVDs by keywords or official subject headings.

(1) Go to the Online Catalog and select "Advanced Search" on the top menu bar.

(2) Enter a keyword, title, or subject heading in the upper section of the search box. (See below.)

(3) If you are interested in either VHS tapes or DVDs (you don't care which), click to get the pull-down menu next to "format." Select "Visual materials."

If you are only interested in VHS tapes, click to get the pull-down menu next to "type." Select "Videotape."

If you are only interested in DVDs, click to get the pull-down menu next to "type." Select DVD."

(4) The default is a search of all four Vermont State College Libraries. To see Castleton holdings only, get the pull-down menu next to "library" and select "Castleton."

(5) Click "Search."
