  Beginning at the age of nine, Don Goodman has studied with guitar masters Van Moretti, Russ DeFillipis, and Harry Leahey. Goodman specialized in Jazz Studies and Theory at William Paterson College and Bergen Community College. Equally at home in the Jazz or Classical repertory, Goodman regularly appears in solo as well as ensemble settings in club and concert venues. Goodman has regularly taught improvisation and jazz history, has co-directed the Castleton Jazz Ensemble for the past ten years, and has taught groups and individuals privately for over twenty years.
